Question for email marketing 2011 by pretty + poisonous: Is it appropriate to email a potential employer and ask what qualifications they are looking for?
There is a list of job responsibilities, but no list of qualifications that they are looking for. Here is their ad:

"Marketing and Promotion Coordinator
This is a full-time position that entitles the employee to all benefits. This position reports to the director of communications and public affairs and consists of fundraising and developing public awareness through special events and promotions.

General Responsibilities to include:
- Design, implement, maintain, and track annual fund activities utilizing special
